Who Am I?

Emy Rodriguez Flores is an experienced travel journalist from Arecibo, Puerto Rico. His writing has been featured in top-notch publications like Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Country Living, and Popular Mechanics. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ BIPOC community, he brings a wonderfully unique and diverse perspective to his travel stories and writings. 

He's also had the pleasure of working for awesome companies such as Ralph Lauren, Time Out, Estée Lauder, and Disney, creating content and digital marketing/public relations campaigns that have captured the attention of many. Not only do I generate journalistic content to fit any travel and lifestyle need, but I am also a digital marketing specialist who focuses on the customer journey. Randomized controlled trials are my lifeline, and I consider myself someone who never stops learning. 

I understand that every voice is unique and can bring something. I never look at one campaign, piece, or piece of content from one perspective. I take it all in and make sure I approach any issue holistically.

Growing up, I never had someone like me to look up to, and not having that representation made me question my place in the world. It wasn't until university that I found my voice, and finding my voice made me realize I had to be my own representation. 

If you've read any of my work, you know how vulnerable my writing can be. I believe leading with vulnerability is what can connect us as humans. We all come from different places, but one thing we all share is the ability to feel.
